In early September, a number of the largest investors will travel to the Norwegian capital, Oslo, to participate in the Nordic Summit 2024. This is the third year in a row that Nordic Summit is held, and as in previous years, Akershus Eiendom in Norway and Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Sweden and Finland, together with EDC Poul Erik Bech, are hosting the summit. The Nordic Summit will take place on 5 September 2024.
Helle Nielsen Ziersen, Head of EDC International Poul Erik Bech, says: “For the third year in a row, we are organizing the Nordic Summit together with our Nordic colleagues, JLL in Sweden and Finland, and Akershus Eiendom in Norway. The first two years have been a great success, so hopefully it will be the same this time in Oslo, where an intense and exciting event is planned. Next year, we look forward to welcoming them all to Copenhagen.”
“The Nordic Summit is aimed at specific investors who focus on all or parts of the Nordic property market. The event gives investors the opportunity to network and share insights on the current situation in the Nordic property markets and talk to other investors about transactions and what is in demand in the market,” says Helle Nielsen Ziersen and continues:
“We have already invited a number of Danish investors to Oslo, but if there are investors with an interest in the Nordic property market, they are very welcome to contact us as soon as possible so they can come to Oslo, and we can be up to date with their investment strategy together.”
Important part of international cooperation
For several years, EDC Poul Erik Bech has worked closely with JLL, which is one of the world’s largest real estate companies with a presence in 80 countries and more than 100,000 employees. Helle Nielsen Ziersen says about the collaboration:
“We collaborate with JLL on a wide range of property cases, where we bring local knowledge and brokerage experience from the Danish market. We collaborate with JLL across national borders and are their representative here in Denmark, just as they represent us abroad and can help in the process, for example, when Danish companies are looking for properties abroad.”
Joseph Alberti, Head of Research at EDC Poul Erik Bech, adds: “We collaborate with JLL on market reports and market analyses. Among other things, we share our knowledge and analyses of the Danish property market to their reports, such as Nordic Outlook, which is published twice a year. At the same time, we also receive reports and analyses in the other direction, so that we constantly can be updated on what is happening in the international property markets and can provide the best possible advice to investors. We also collaborate on events such as the Nordic Summit, which is an important part of the partnership.”
